At Spectrum Community Health CIC, we take our duty to protect your personal information and confidentiality very seriously and take all reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

When you submit information to us for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, we will only use the information you provided for the purposes specified on the registration form. We will not use these details for any other purpose.

The legal basis for processing your data

The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) requires Spectrum Community Health CIC to have a legal basis to process information about you.

We process personal Data – referred to under 6(1)(a) consent “the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.

How we use your data

Any personal information you provide to Spectrum Community Health CIC give us will be processed in accordance with GDPR.

We use the data you provide to enable us fulfil the commitment of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, to supply your child with a free book by post, personally addressed to your child, every month until their 4th birthday.

We also use your data to send you surveys about the scheme, either online, by email or by post. We use these surveys to help us understand how well the Dolly Parton Imagination Library scheme is working. You don’t have to participate in the survey and you can unsubscribe from receiving these communications at any point by contacting imaginationlibrary@spectrum-cic.nhs.uk or using the link provided in correspondence.

Who we share your data with

Spectrum Community Health CIC shares the data you provide for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library with Wakefield Council Educational and Public Health services and local schools, to help measure how well the Imagination Library is working.

We also share your data with the Dollywood Foundation Inc (based in the USA), who use the data to measure the benefits of the programme. They may create datasets with the information provided here and share them with research and educational advancement partners.

We do not share your data with anyone else or for any other purposes.

Wakefield Council

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is delivered in partnership for the Wakefield District by Spectrum Community Health CIC on behalf of Wakefield Council.
