Our research facilities

Spectrum conducts research in a range of settings, including our primary healthcare facilities in secure environments. Our Tieve Tara Medical Centre in Airedale, Wakefield has hosted a number of research participant studies.

As a social enterprise, we are proud to launch our new state of the art research facilities based at our Spectrum Head Office in Navigation Walk, central Wakefield.

This unique, custom designed, dedicated research ready space can be utilised for a wealth of public facing and private research projects, with generous space and facilities on hand to meet numerous purposes and uses. Our fully equipped facilities and treatment rooms include:

Pathology room with -80 degrees and -20 degrees freezers, refrigerators, centrifuges
Pharmacy room
Patient treatment room including patient couches, blood pressure monitors, ECG monitors, privacy screens, stadiometers etc
A large central space ideal for delivering training or running larger studies
Office space with toilet and kitchen facilities

Access to this facility is one of the benefits of working with Spectrum for your research purpose.

The space is also available to hire for independent research purposes. It is ideally located for easy access from across West Yorkshire, the North East, North West and the Midlands. Please us our get in touch form for further information.
