Our research team

Tracey leads the Spectrum’s research team and utilises her experience as a Senior Research Nurse, GCP Facilitator and Research Governance Officer, to build research activity within Spectrum. Her role also involves advising, supporting and developing both the research team and internal and external colleagues.

Tracey joined the Spectrum following a long career at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, of which 13 years was spent in research.

George is a research assistant and the co-ordinator for the Transform Research Alliance of social enterprises. He has keen research interests around research methods (quantitative methods), and how evidence is generated, disseminated, and utilised in social enterprise organisations.

Pip was awarded a PhD by Leeds University in 2019, following submission of her ground-breaking work exploring the feasibility of peer educator interventions to support behaviour change by prisoner populations.

Her role includes working with partner organisations in the development of research funding bids, contributing to the delivery of research studies, and undertaking systematic reviews pertaining to the health and wellbeing of vulnerable groups.

Sara joined the team as the project administrator, working on the PROVENT monoclonal antibody trial. Her passion for research has developed her both personally and professionally and her diverse skills and knowledge have aided her transition into the role of Clinical Trials Assistant in which she works closely with the research team both clinically and administratively.
